by Christina on Sep.28, 2008, under Concerts, Music
In case you’re interested in festivals this one is the best. It takes place October 10th – 13th at Camp Minglewood in Hancock, NY.
The camp grounds are very nice and the facilities are clean. The festivities include 3 days of live music, light shows, fantastic food and cool trinkets. On the last day they hold the judging of all the growers who entered.
You can still get tickets! Please visit www.damnsam.com for more information.
Live Free.

Growing Up
by Christina on Sep.16, 2008, under Random Things
Why is it that as we get older we lose most of what we had as kids? We lose our friends and family. We lose our values and morals. We even lose our ability to be creative and adventurous.
I take a look at the world around me and I don’t see people. I see machines that used to be people. Hope is gone and all that remains is the constant knowledge that it doesn’t get better than this. It can though, if we let it. There are voices in this world worth being heard.
Take your blinders off and open your ears. If you don’t, I believe we are doomed. Not as a planet but as the human race. Stop being drones with your breakfast at 7am( 2 eggs, bacon, light white toast with butter) and 5 o’clock news everyday. Spice it up a little.
Be unique and creative and remember that we once saw beauty in life and relationships. I long to see that again. I’m tired of the cynical and jaded masses. It’s enough to make you wanna move to deserted island.
